The Department of Justice is committed to compensating victims as quickly as practicable. Reviewing petitions and supporting documentation for eligibility determinations, however, please be patient as this review will take a considerable amount of time.
During this stage, Epiq will not be providing the status of individual petition forms.
The Remission Administrator will provide a Notice of Deficiency if a petition form is missing certain information. The requested additional information must be provided within the stated deadline. If the information provided does not sufficiently establish eligibility or is not provided within the stated deadline or any extension, your petition may be denied.
